Chocobo GP received yet another update from Square Enix, increasing the total number of available versions of the game to 1.4.1.
This article addresses a variety of issues that have been raised. Troubles that were impacting the Midgar courses, Cactuar abilities in Time Attack, and lobby issues in multiplayer have all been resolved in this version of the game.
The complete patch notes for the 1.4.1 upgrade;
- Corrections made to a bug in the multiplayer mode, which caused the game’s settings to switch from “mirror” mode to “master” mode if a lobby was established with mirror mode selected, then play proceeded without disbanding that lobby for a period of time.
- Corrections have been made to a problem that occurred on the Midgar short and technical courses, in which competitors were sometimes deemed to have gone off the course in an inappropriate manner.
- This update addresses a problem that occurred when Cactuar’s ability, “1000 Needles,” was used in Time Attack mode. In this mode, the ability was prematurely terminated if Cactuar touched a ghost while hit detection for the attack was active. This issue has been fixed.
- This update corrects an issue that existed on the screen used to pick stickers, in which the pointer would wander to areas that should not be selectable if the user forced it to skip from a certain place.
- Corrections have been made to a bug in the LITE version that caused choices that could not be chosen to appear on the screen alongside options that could be selected if the user navigated between screens in a certain manner.
- This update corrects an issue in which the Kwackeys’ speed type vehicle would not display the appropriate color when the player used the “Premium Gold” color option.
Chocobo GP’s latest update, version 1.4.1, is now available for download for any and all gamers on Nintendo Switch.
