In the recent Nintendo Direct, a slew of RPG and strategy titles were unveiled for the Nintendo Switch. One of the RPGs mentioned was a remaster of Chrono Cross, which was published in Japan in 1999 and North America in 2000 on the PlayStation 1. For April 7th, Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC through Steam.

The remaster of “CHRONO CROSS” is “CHRONO CROSS: THE RADICAL DREAMERS EDITION.”
The 3D models have been updated to high definition, fresh drawings have been added, and a slew of new functions have been introduced. This version also includes “RADICAL DREAMERS – Le Trésor Interdit -,” the game that served as the story’s foundation.
CHRONO CROSS is a time-and-space-bending role-playing game that takes place in two interconnected parallel universes.
People and realms will intersect in this epic story about the planet itself, with over 40 party members to meet.
3D models have been converted to HD, and character graphics have been refined in the Remastered Edition.

RADICAL DREAMERS – Le Trésor Interdit – “RADICAL DREAMERS – Le Trésor Interdit -” was first published in 1996 as a stand-alone game, but it has been difficult to find in recent years. In an audio book format, players may listen to the narrative that became the inspiration for CHRONO CROSS. In a parallel universe, an alternative narrative of the RADICAL DREAMERS, a trio of three thieves – Serge, Kid, and Magil – plays out.
