About Circus Electrique

Circus Electrique is a story-driven RPG, a tactics game, and a circus management game, all with a steampunk twist. It is named after the best show in Victorian London. Use the unique skills of your carnival crusaders to protect the city. You can bring in new entertainers, change their positions and abilities in battle, and more, all while putting on new shows and keeping the circus going.

In tactical turn-based battles, your unlikely heroes will face off against Bobbies and British Sailors gone bad, aggressive Posh Girls, the occasional scary Mime or Robobear, and other over-the-top Victorian archetypes in six large districts. The complex Devotion system in the game affects your characters’ morale and how well they do in battle and in the actual circus shows you’ll be in charge of.

Features

  • Exciting RPG Combat: Build an amazing team of heroes from 15 playable archetypes, such as Strongmen, Fire Blowers, Escape Artists, Clowns, and other classic circus performers. Each archetype has a wide range of tactical skills and choices in battle. Balance where they are and what they can do strategically so you can handle any problems that come up.
  • Like No Other Circus: Immerse yourself in a beautiful world and story based on old circus posters, archetypes from the Victorian era, and the classic charm of steampunk.
  • Manage Steampunk London’s Biggest Show: There must be a show! Bring the circus back to its former glory and beyond by finding and training the most talented performers from all over the world. The success of each show depends on their skill, how well they work together, and how much Devotion they have. You’ll need every penny you can get to keep the lights on.

The Nintendo Switch eShop will have Circus Electrique available digitally. No price has been decided on yet.
