Coromon – Nuzlocke Mode, cross-save and more

Coromon – Nuzlocke

Players are given a tight set of restrictions to follow in the “Nuzlocke” mode. This features just one catchable Coromon per region, no fleeing from combat, no teleporting goods, and a creature that faints in battle does not wake up.

There are four difficulty levels to choose from: Easy, Regular, Hard, and Insane. For “Nuzlocke” mode, you’ll need to pick Insane. A fifth difficulty level is also featured, with “an extensive variety of challenging accessibility settings for a tailored experience,” such as “item costs and availability modifications, Coromon capture restrictions per location, healing constraints, and many more.”

Coromon also completely supports cross-save between Switch and Steam, something we’re excited about. As a result, progress may be shared across the two platforms.

A built-in randomizer has also been disclosed by Freedom Games. “Every wild Coromon, opponent trainer’s team, Coromon skill and evolution routes, collecting objects, and so many other things may be fully changed for an endlessly replayable voyage,” according to the developer.

Finally, Coromon will let players to compete against other trainers in online multiplayer bouts.

On March 31, 2022, Coromon will be released on the Nintendo Switch.
