Coromon version 1.1.0 patch notes

Coromon version 1.1.0 patch notes

Coromon’s version 1.1.0, which came out just now, is a huge update. The most important part of the update is a new feature called “Trait Enhancements,” which lets players change or stop the evolution of a Coromon so that it gets a better version of its Trait. RNG has been lowered, and a number of Skills, Traits, weather effects, and conditions have been looked at again to make RNG even less likely to happen. Along with this, there is a new setting called “Reduced RNG mode.”

There are also some new things, changes, and fixes.

Version 1.1.0 update

  • Game Updates
    • The “Insane Spinner” is a new item that lets players on the “Insane” difficulty level catch any quest Coromon. The Coromon you catch with this Spinner are kept in a hidden storage that you can’t get to, but you can turn them in for quests.
    • There is now a new difficulty setting that makes it impossible to catch any Coromon.
    • For Swurmy Only runs, we added a new difficulty setting that lets you choose any Coromon as your starter.
    • Milestones 51-100 are now available
    • Milestones 1–50 have been changed, and if you’ve already reached them, the new rewards are in your inventory.
    • The Revitaliser Gem now heals 6% of your HP, up from 5% before.
    • Traits like “Prepared” will show the user, not the opponent, an indicator when the effect is active.
    • Now, Premonition hurts Ghosts.
    • Burn now makes the Coromon’s Special Attack stat 30% worse.
    • Poison now makes the Coromon’s Attack stat 30% weaker.
    • Sand Vermeer Grotto now has the skill Spout Skill Flash for sale.
    • The online versions of Inspect Scent and Trait Scent have been turned off.
    • Kyraptor can’t learn anymore. Crunch
    • Several skills that deal flat damage (like Splash) or percentage damage (like Death Grip in PvP) are no longer affected by effects that make damage go up (like Rain, sharp claws)
  • Game Fixes
    • Revenge Jaws, Sumo Stance, and Frigid Barrier Skills are now working the way they are supposed to.
    • Shell Drill now works as it was meant to: it lowers special defense.
    • When two Coromon with a trait that changes the weather faint at the same time in an online battle, the “invalid battle” error was fixed.
    • Weather and conditions
    • The Sleep condition is replaced by the Drowsy condition. When Coromon are drowsy, their Attack and Special Attack stats are reduced by 30%, and every hit they take is a critical hit. The effect lasts for four turns.
    • Changes were made to the Shock condition. Instead of having a 25% chance to do nothing every turn, the effect now happens every fourth turn and has a visual cue when it does.
    • Changes have been made to Twilight: In Twilight, ghost Coromon won’t touch their targets, and positive stat boosts on non-ghost Coromon become negative stat boosts.
    • Cut down on RNG mode
    • Reduced RNG mode is now a single-player option, and it is enforced in PvP:
    • All skills that had an accuracy of less than 100 now have an accuracy of 100, but their effects will be slightly lessened.
    • The percentage of how often they hit is multiplied by their power. For example, a skill that had 100 power and 85 accuracy will now have 100 * 0.85 = 85 power.
    • One-hit kill skills will now do 35% of the target’s current HP worth of damage.
    • The drowsy condition only lasts for two rounds, but skills that use it work perfectly every time.
    • Side effects on skills, like 25% chance to burn the target, will no longer happen at random. Instead, they will happen every Xth turn, where X is based on the original percentage. Under the Skill button, there will be a light that shows if and when the side effects will happen.
    • Critical hits work the same way as side effects and are now fixed, but they are still affected by how much your Critical Hit Chance stat changes.
    • Instead of having a chance to happen every turn, some Traits happen every X turns.
    • Changes to the Speed stat now affect the number of hits on multi-hits. If the Coromon’s Speed dropped by 1 stage or more, then the fewest strikes will happen. With a positive change to the Speed stat, the most strikes will happen.
  • Trait Enhancements & Devolution
    • Coromon that could have evolved but haven’t can now take advantage of Trait Enhancements, but this comes at the cost of a drop in certain stats that are set by the Trait. (For example, Antidote+ will lower Attack and Special Attack by 15%, while Conductor+ will lower Attack and Defense by 30%.) These percentages can be found by clicking on the stats in the evolution details.
    • There is a new tab on the Coromon summary where you can see what changes your Coromon could use.
    • You can now stop a Coromon from evolving when it starts to do so.
    • With the new tab in the Coromon summary, you can make a Coromon that hasn’t evolved yet evolve.
    • Devolve Pill, a new item, was added. It turns into a Coromon. Who would have thought?
    • Loan Squads in PvP now include Coromon that haven’t been evolved.
  • Example Trait Enhancement stages:
    • Nano Skin: This Coromon can’t bleed because its exoskeleton can grow back.
    • Nano Skin+: This Coromon can’t bleed because its skin can grow back. Status problems go away two rounds after they are caused.
    • Nano Skin++: This Coromon’s exoskeleton can heal itself, so it can’t bleed or get any other status problems.
  • New Things
    • Zum Fruit: If you get hit by a super powerful attack, it will make your Attack and Special Attack stronger.
    • Fari Fruit: If you get hit by a super powerful attack, it will make you move faster.
    • Gem of Brume: Don’t let entry hazards affect you.
    • Nullifier Rock: Don’t let the weather effects affect you.
    • Pista Stone: The Coromon’s Attack goes up by 50%, but it can only use its first skill in each battle.
    • Almo Stone: The Coromon’s Special Attack goes up by 50%, but it can only use the skill it uses for the first time in a battle.

    • Shared Fate no longer works if it’s used twice in a row.

Status: Reverses the user’s energy, turning all negative stat changes into positive ones and vice versa. Sparkle Slam, Physical Electric, 80 power, 90 accuracy was added to the Droople line. The user freezes its body and slams into the opponent. The target has a 25% chance of being Shocked. Added to Mino, Gauslime line Backstab, Special Foul, 85pwr, 100acc: The Coromon moves very quickly to hit the opponent with a nasty backstab. When this attack goes on for a long time, it leads to a lot of bleeding. A line was added to Squidma, Quagoo, and Droople.
    • Illusion Burst, Normal Special, 75 power, 100 accuracy. The Coromon moves so quickly that it looks like illusions are attacking the opponent. Has a 50% chance of making Defense one stage lower. Lines Patterbit, Moffel, Quagoo, Arcta, Toruga, and Acie have been added to

    • Soul Crush is a physical spell with 80 power and 95 accuracy. It crushes the target’s soul, taking away its will to fight. Does damage and lowers the Special Attack of the target by one stage. • Spike Trap, Entry Hazard: Any opponent who enters the battlefield is hurt for 12% of their maximum health by sharp spikes. When more spikes are added, they add up to do 18% and then 24% damage. Haunted Grounds, Entry Hazard was added to the Silquil line. The person who casts it makes the ground haunted, which lowers the Special Attack of any opponent who enters the battlefield by one stage. Cursed Grounds, an entry risk, has been added to the Otogy line. When the caster curses the ground, any opponent who enters the battlefield has their Attack lowered by one stage. ‘Entry Hazard’ was added to the Squidly Line Sand Skewers. The sharp skewers cause opponents to bleed and damage them for 8% of their maximum [hp] when they enter the battlefield. The effect of this can happen twice. Icy Nails from the Skarbone line now have an entry hazard: lay a field of icy spikes around the target. This creates an Ice type entry hazard that hurts opposing grounded Coromon by 10% of their maximum HP when they are sent into battle. Blazing Coals, from the Arcta line, now has an entry hazard: the user lays down a field of burning hot coals, making a Fire entry hazard that burns Coromon sent into battle by the other side. Added to the line of Pyrochick and Squidma
