Cuphead DLC – Delicious Last Course – already sold 1 million times

It looks like Cuphead DLC – The Delicious Last Course – has already broken some records since it came out recently.

Studio MHDR said that after less than two weeks on the market, the DLC expansion has sold more than 1 million copies. This means that the DLC sold faster than the original Cuphead game.

Cuphead DLC – Delicious Last Course a direct hit

Studio MHDR had the following to note;

It’s hard to believe, but our Cuphead expansion The Delicious Last Course has sold 1 million copies across all platforms in just over a week since the game came out! This is even faster than how long it took for the original game to reach this important goal, and we couldn’t be happier or more grateful. These words can’t express how thankful we are, but we still want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all of the amazing people who play Cuphead around the world.

The Delicious Last Course was a true labor of love from the beginning to the end. Every step of the way, we pushed ourselves to make the most ambitious design, animation, and music we’d ever made to tell the story of Ms. Chalice and give this part of Cuphead and Mugman’s journey a fitting ending. In the many years since we decided to make the game that would become Cuphead, we’ve come to think of these three brave heroes as our friends and the world of the Inkwell Isles, where they live, as a place we’ve been.

Finishing the original Cuphead story with this Delicious Last Course has been a great adventure, but the best part may have been sharing it with such a great community. You have been with us every step of the way, from making great fan art to telling stories about how you and your friends and family found the game to your kind words of support as we worked hard to finish The Delicious Last Course.
