We now have a better understanding of the characters in Curse of the Sea Rats thanks to a recent update from PQube and Petoons Studio.
David Douglas, Buffalo Calf, Bussa, and Akane Yamakawa are all introduced.
The swashbuckling sea rat David Douglas
He is a master of all crafts who can battle in a multitude of ways. He is an American Settler who joined the Continental Army to fight the British Empire. He possesses excellent speed, reach, and a lethal mid-air slash with his cutlass. David also carries his go-to handgun for powerful ranged assaults.
With a fire elemental affinity, he can unlock a variety of pyro skills, such as Wild Fire, which increases spell damage and slows enemies down, Flaming Discharge, which fires a fiery wave that deals magic damage all around him, and Blazing Tornado, which lets him project a massive flamethrower to deal a ton of damage!
The Fearless Cheyenne Hunter: Buffalo Calf
Buffalo Calf is a swift warrior with two daggers who was captured for breaking into a British camp and freeing their horses while the troops slept. She is capable of both quick close quarters battle and powerful flung distance assaults.
Buffalo Calf may give her daggers an electrical charge to offer unwary opponents an extra shock benefit due to her elemental affinity for air. If she has enough spiritual force, Piercing Storm may summon the powerful Thunderbird and do magic harm to anybody unfortunate enough to go in her path. She showers down lethal blades from above.
The Bajan brawler Bussa
Bussa, a runaway slave from the island of Barbados, escaped his captors and is now a rebel commander engaged in combat against them. There is no better brawler, and his close-range hooks are lethal. Bussa utilizes his bulk to his advantage, knocking foes to the ground from above and deflecting blows with his tremendous power.
Bussa may cause an earthquake to occur directly in front of him because to his elemental affinity for the Earth. Bussa spins quickly as a result of Heavy Drill, slicing everyone in his path with a flurry of fists. Bussa has the ability to survive an otherwise fatal strike thanks to Survivor, while Rock Rain will summon a storm of rocks to fall from the sky.
The Onna-bugeisha by Akane Yamakawa
Akane is a skilled naginata wielder and a trained warrior of the Shogun. She excels in mid- to long-range combat because to her tremendous reach, which enables her to keep foes at a distance. She is agile and acrobatic, striking with swift sweeping blows with pinpoint accuracy.
Akane is the most poised and elegant member of the team, and as water is her elemental affinity, she can cast Typhoon, a torrent that she utilizes to propel herself forward. Anyone who approaches too closely will be damaged by Water Shield, while Ice Breaker provides resistance to harm. While Tsunami enables Akane to summon a terrible tsunami to crash down on her adversaries, Water Fall allows her to refuel during prolonged battles.
Curse of the Sea Rats has had a few delays despite being initially intended for the Nintendo Switch. Right present, early 2023 is the target date.
