The release date for the video game, Curse of the Sea Rats, has been revealed by both the developer Petoons Studio and the publisher PQube.
On April 6th, 2023, the 2D “Ratoidvania” will be made available for purchase on Nintendo Switch as well as other platforms. In addition, physical copies of the game will be sold for Nintendo Switch at certain shops in the United Kingdom and the United States of America.Â

Curse of the Sea Rats is a platform adventure in the “ratoidvania” genre that has hand-drawn animations and was painstakingly developed. Get ready to go on an adventure of epic proportions with four unfortunate captives of the British empire who have been turned into rats by the infamous pirate sorceress Flora Burn. They will have to overcome treacherous employers, discover the hidden mysteries of the expansive Irish shore, and, finally, apprehend the witch who put the curse on them in order to restore their human bodies.
Get acquainted with some of the most evil bosses you’ll face during the course of your trip! Every adversary you face, from the scuttling, web-weaving Freddy Eightfingers to the ancient evil of The Necromancer, will provide you with whole new obstacles for you to surmount. You may try your hand at one of the four different playable characters, or you can join forces with your pals in the local cooperative mode to achieve victory.
