Fans of the Dead or Alive franchise will be interested to know that the developer has announced that the latest entry Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet is coming to the Nintendo Switch.
But wait … not fighting
Before you get all excited … it should be stated that it isn’t a fighting game, but it is instead it is a sports video game in the Dead or Alive series and developed by Team Ninja.
Still it is part of the Dead or Alive series and might be a test to see how the waters on the Nintendo Switch are for Team Ninja. And of course if features the wonderful women of DOA.

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 retains the camera mode from the earlier installments of the DOAX series. The game will feature multiple gameplay modes, which include minigames such as beach volleyball and “butt battle”. New game modes include beach flag, in which characters will compete in a race to retrieve a flag, and rock climbing.
Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet is due for release on the 20th of March in Japan. A EU/US release date is not known at this time.
