Nippon Ichi Software has released a brand new teaser for the upcoming video game Disgaea 7, in which they highlight one of the new playable characters in the game.
About Ao
Ao, the sixth playable character in the game to have her own character trailer, was presented to you here by Riona Imaizumi. Despite her adorable appearance, Ao is a very destructive character. Appearing to be a little girl, she respectfully and affectionately refers to Fuji as “father.” She is known as “Hyougaki” across all of Hinomoto because of the destruction she has wrought over the region “for father’s sake.”
She is so determined to win Fuji’s affection and attention that she tries all in her power to achieve this goal.
When she is with Fuji, she behaves like a spoiled child, but if anybody dares to stand in her way, she will shoot them all to pieces with a barrage of bullets. She will not allow anyone stand in her way.
About Disgaea 7
The events of Disgaea 7 take place in the “Hinomoto Netherworld Cluster,” an underworld with a Japanese motif that the demon admiral Opener has emptied of its “Bushido” and left in ruins.
Together, a lone samurai by the name of Fuji and a Hinomoto otaku girl by the name of Piririka go on a journey throughout the whole of Hinomoto in search of the legendary weapons known as the “Seven Blades of Origin” and the means to overthrow the corrupt Oedo Shogunate.
Is it feasible for Fuji, Pirika, and the other strange people they meet to redeem Hinomoto’s name and bring back his reputation?
The action of the role-playing strategy game Disgaea takes place in a corrupt and dangerous underworld.
The story progresses by you building an army out of the many friends you meet on your travels, then educating them and sending them on missions to various sections of the underworld.
Have a good time creating your own unique heroes and armies, as well as taking part in epic battles with body counts reaching into the millions.
The seventh installment of the Disgaea series will be available for purchase on the Nintendo Switch in Japan on January 26, 2023.
