Prepare to enter a whole new Realm by shrinking down!
It’s no secret that a new Realm door is about to open up in the Dream Castle; this one will take you to Bonnie’s chamber, which is the current hiding place for a well-known pair of toy-sized heroes: Buzz Lightyear and Woody! The fact that upon entering this Realm, you can discover items that are bigger than life – or that you have shrunk down to toy size – is what makes it one of a kind. Check out our previously released clip that was shown off during the 2022 games showcase at the D23 Expo to get a glimpse of what’s in store for you!
Once Buzz and Woody have returned to the Village, you will assist Buzz in his efforts to secure the support of Dreamlight Valley’s citizens in order to create the region’s first Star Command outpost, and you will also assist Woody in learning the magic of childhood memories. You are also in for a surprise when you work with Donald Duck to determine the cause of some disturbance in the hamlet, which ultimately leads to the arrival of a new inhabitant who hails from beyond the stars!
The beginning of a whole new Star Path!
You will have plenty of opportunities to get into the holiday spirit with the release of the new Festive Star Path. This path is filled to the brim with new and exclusive items that will help you get cozy and warm in Dreamlight Valley. In addition to decorating your Villages with homes for our new heroes from Disney’s Toy Story, you will also have plenty of opportunities to decorate your Villages with homes for our new heroes from Disney’s Toy Story.
In addition to brand-new outfits, pieces of furniture, and accessories, the Festive Star Path comes with a brand-new feature called Dream Styles. With this function, you will be able to dress up Mickey Mouse and Merlin in unique “Dream Style” holiday outfits.

As you get ready to spend the holidays with all of your Disney and Pixar pals, do you plan to make a snowman, trek across the frosty peaks of Frosted Heights, or learn some new dishes that are appropriate for the season? In Missions in Uncharted Space, the decision is ultimately yours, but be aware that we have no plans to stop there. You may look forward to joyous gatherings to mark the coming of the holiday season later on in the month of December. The holidays are just around the corner!

We are so excited to share this absolutely story and content packed second update with our fans; however, what’s more is that we have also made sure to listen to your thoughts and take the time to shape the game with our players’ feedback in mind. We’ve included a Day/Night toggle so that players from all over the world may experience the beautiful sunrises and sunsets that Dreamlight Valley has to offer at their own leisure. This update is simply cosmetic and will have no impact on the gameplay in any way.
The first character skins, which were previously unlocked by players as part of our Wishlist Campaign (link to post on blog), are now accessible in the Valley! Within the Festive Star Path, you will discover not one but two brand-new “Dreamlight Styles” for Mickey and Merlin to choose from.
Are you concerned about the impact that keeping the lights on in your house might have on the environment? You now have the ability to turn the floor and wall lights on and off.
You are now free to socialize with Ariel. We can’t wait to hear about all of the exciting things you do together.
It would seem that Kristoff has increased the number of items that are available for purchase at his booth. Among the new items that can be acquired are iron ingots.
