Dragon Ball: The Breakers is an asymmetrical action multiplayer game that will be released later this year on the Nintendo Switch and other platforms. The game’s producer, Ryosuke Hara, was interviewed by the official Dragon Ball website, and although much of the questions focused on the forthcoming game, they had to ask him who his favorite Dragon Ball character is.Â
Who is your favorite Dragon Ball character ?
“I like Gohan, particularly Cell Arc Gohan.” I like the scene in which he releases his wrath and wakes his power after Cell smashes Android 16 in front of him. That moment when he lets all of his rage out absolutely gives me shivers. And then he executes the Father-Son Kamehameha with Goku, which is pure awesomeness the whole time.
No one can dispute that Dragon Ball’s superpowered bouts get your pulse pounding, and I believe that DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS truly showcases how strong the characters are since you can feel it firsthand as a character with very limited ability. That level of immersion is unique to Breakers among the various Dragon Ball games we’ve seen so far, so I hope everyone has a chance to experience it.”
About Dragon Ball: The Breakers
Seven regular civilians are stuck in a Temporal Seam after being caught off guard by an unanticipated temporal phenomena; they share their confinement with a Raider, a frightening opponent from another timeline with immense strength.
Their last option for life is to use the Super Time Machine to break free from the Temporal Seam, but the Raider is on their tail and becoming stronger by the minute.
In a race against time, the Survivors’ cleverness collides with the Raider’s force.
