Dragon Quest X Offline – Releasing in Japan this September

Square Enix confirmed the Japanese release date for Dragon Quest X Offline during a new edition of the Super Dragon Quest X TV program. The game will now be available on Switch on September 15, 2022 in the area.

In May 2021, Dragon Quest X Offline was first unveiled. Square Enix had planned to release it on February 26th. However, it was postponed and moved back to an uncertain date this summer – until now, when the new date was announced.

The live broadcast also announced that the release date for Dragon Quest X: The Sleeping Hero and the Guiding Ally Offline, an MMORPG expansion, has been pushed back to Spring 2023. It was previously scheduled for this autumn.

There has been no indication on a western localization of Dragon Quest X Offline as of yet.

About Rise of the Five Tribe

In Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Offline, there are “Rarefied Monsters” said to be long-lived creatures rarefied with a new name and appearance. You may encounter these monsters from time to time. While these are formidable foes, defeating them will yield you valuable items such as Fun-Size Forge recipes, forging and Alchemy Pot materials, and so on.

A Look at a Few Rarefied Monsters

—Caliconjurer
