About Drainus

A planet that is suffering under the tyrannical control of an Empire may be found all the way out in the depths of space. A slave makes the decision to fight back, and in order to do so, he steals and takes possession of a spacecraft called the “Drainus.” This ship is equipped with the most recent energy-absorbing technology that the Empire has developed. In this action-packed side-scrolling shooter, you race across space and take on waves upon waves of hostile opponents.

The “Reflector” that is included with the Drainus gives you the ability to deflect enemy energy strikes and use them against them in a way that does significant additional damage. A part of the energy that is generated as a result of these assaults is also stored in tanks, and it is later used to improve different aspects of the Drainus. To avoid being overwhelmed by the onslaught of enemy fire, you must quickly pivot from defense to offensive.

Transform absorbed energy into a wide variety of weapons, including Homing Missiles, Reflective Lasers, Omni-directional Physical Shields, and many more. You are free to customize your build to reflect the challenges you face or the way you choose to play.

Drainus has everything a decent side-scrolling shooter should have, including three distinct difficulty levels (easy, regular, and hard), anti-collision help, unlocked game modes, and the opportunity to go through stages several times with a variety of various loadouts.

Drainus is available for purchase on the Nintendo Switch eShop as a digital download. English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese are the languages that are included in the lineup.
