Evil Dead: The Game delayed to May 2022

The release of Evil Dead: The Game has been postponed again by Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games. The game will now be released on May 13, 2022, with a trailer and pre-order information coming out in February.

The game will be delayed in order to “provide the finest possible experience,” according to the developers.

The official explanation for the delay is as follows:

Hello, lovers of The Evil Dead! We knew it had to be funky as hell when we set out to create a new game worthy of the Evil Dead series. Evil Dead: The Game will now be released on May 13, 2022, in order to provide the finest possible experience. This delay provides our team the time they need to get everything exactly perfect, ensuring that your boomstick is polished, fully loaded, and ready to blast Deadites on May 13th. Please accept our sincere gratitude for your patience and understanding.

Don’t worry, you won’t have to wait long for additional information: stay tuned in February for pre-order information and a BRAND NEW TRAILER!

Evil Dead: The Game was supposed to be out in 2021, however it was postponed until February 2022 before finally being slated for May 13th.
