About F-Zero X

In 1998, F-Zero X was released for the N64. Since then, it’s been available on the Wii Virtual Console.

Choose from a variety of hover-car races, including upgraded versions of the Blue Falcon and other cars from the original F-Zero game, and prepare to accelerate! Race to the finish line on airborne circuits that twist and spin. You must, however, stay clear of the other 29 vehicles on the track or face the penalties! Try to win a Grand Prix Cup, set the quickest lap time in a Time Trial, or demolish the competitors in a Death Race if you’re feeling competitive. In the Versus mode, you may also battle three pals. F-Zero X is a good racing game to return to, with five different play modes, secret cars and circuits, and a terrific soundtrack.

The N64 titles for the Nintendo Switch have received a lot of attention in recent months. Many games have worked flawlessly since their release, while some have had some troubles. Fans of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, for example, were unhappy with the way fog was shown in the game. Thankfully, this has recently been resolved.

On March 11, 2022, F-Zero X was released on Nintendo Switch Online. To download the N64 app and play the game, you must be a subscriber to the Expansion Pass tier.
