Hiro Mashima’s popular manga/anime series, Fairy Tail, is getting a JRPG adaptation for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Koei Tecmo and Gust Studios are beyond excited to take over the project and launch internationally in 2020.
Koei Tecmo will publish the game while Gust will be handling the game’s development with special supervision of Fairy Tail’s author, Hiro Mashima.
The series has also been released for iOS and Android devices. So, this is going to be the first time in the series to hit the major platforms in the West. Fans of the series and newcomers alike will embark on a new adventure with the game’s unique and colorful cast that spanned over a decade!
The game follows the adventures of an old magical guild known as “Fairy Tail.” Follow the roles of Natsu Dragneel, a descendant of a dragon, Lucy Heartfilia, a mage and the brand-new member of the guild, as well as the rest of the guild’s eccentric members.
