For Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii, a graphical comparison video has surfaced online.
Following its first release in 2008, Koei Tecmo said at the most recent Nintendo Direct that the survival horror game is returning. The new Switch version is being released globally for the first time, unlike the original Wii, which was exclusively available in Japan.
The enhanced visuals for Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse on Switch are one among the details Koei Tecmo announced. Since Wii was an SD platform, it naturally indicates a greater resolution, but the images themselves have also been improved. The lighting seems to have altered, and the textures and character models have all been updated.

The classic Japanese horror adventure game is called “FATAL FRAME / PROJECT ZERO: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse.” The girls will use the moonlight and a dim flashlight to look for clues as they investigate the western-style homes and deserted hospitals on Rgetsu Isle. They will also need to use the camera to record “things that cannot be seen” in order to help them locate the proof they need to recall their haunted history.
