Ratalaika Games and Fat Panda Games announced that Flat Kingdom Paper’s Cut Edition will be released for Nintendo Switch soon. And actually on April 1, 2022, the action platformer was released digitally.
About Flat Kingdom Paper’s Cut Edition
Flat Kingdom is best defined as an action platformer with puzzle-style fighting in which you must exchange forms to earn new skills in order to continue.
Each form defeats the opposite in a game similar to rock, paper, scissors. Soft circles can be defeated by sharp triangles, heavy squares can be defeated by frail triangles, and squishy circles may be defeated by sluggish squares. Both adversaries and riddles can be defeated with the right shape and technique, so keep an eye on them and figure out the best way to defeat them.
Immersive gameplay as you explore many complex environments and engage in combat with frightening monsters. Huge monsters await you, but remember that you can defeat them all with only three forms!
Background Information
The evil Third Dimension threatened the Flat Kingdom a long time ago. When all hope seemed to be gone, a wise sorcerer emerged and crafted six magical gems, which stabilized the dimensions and restored harmony. The princess was abducted one day by the masked thief Hex, who also took one of the gems with him. As a result, the 3D chaos reappeared, placing the Kingdom in grave peril once again.
When all looked to be gone, King Square considered the only person who could save the situation. Flat was a little but courageous 2D doodle-like creature that could change forms at whim, allowing him to overcome all types of barriers and defeat geometric adversaries.
