About Foretales

In Foretales, you play as Volepain, an avian small-time robber who gathers a ragtag band of anthropomorphic creatures, including the tiger archer Léo, the gorilla Karst, the elephant Isabeau, and the parrot Pattenbois, in an effort to preserve a crumbling planet condemned by a grim prophesy. Each companion you join up with has their own set of talents and consumable cards to help you forge your way through a range of scripted encounters and obstacles. It is up to you whether you approach a situation with stealth, a ruse, a trade, or plain old-fashioned fisticuffs. Every action has a different consequence, so play Foretales to find previously unknown secrets, fresh puzzle solutions, and other story endings.

Play your cards correctly and you may rescue the planet!

Foretales’ tabletop and CCG-inspired gameplay is brought to life by magnificent illustrated visuals reminiscent of Disney’s golden period. The mood is reinforced by a music composed by the great composer Christophe Héral (Beyond Good & Evil, Rayman Legends), who is joined by prolific character actor Travis Willingham (whose IMDB biography is so extensive we don’t even know where to begin), who serves as Foretales’ narrator.
