Limited Run Games has said that the puzzle-platforming adventure game Frogun will be available in physical form. When pre-orders start here on August 2, 2022, Standard Edition copies of Nintendo Switch will cost $34.99 USD (12pm ET).
The publisher will also sell a Collector’s Edition bundle for $69.99 USD, which will include extras like a reversible 1824 poster, an original soundtrack, a sticker sheet, an artbook, and a manual. When pre-orders start, you will be able to save a copy here.
This release won’t be a part of Limited Run Games’ numbered series, just like other titles that have been distributed. If you don’t get it, it won’t affect your ability to have a complete collection of Limited Run Games games.
About Frogun
Join Renata as she travels through a world of magical ruins with the FROGUN, which is the name of the book. Frogun is an old-school platform game with a retro feel. Your best friend is a grappling hook in the shape of a frog.
Renata’s parents are well-known explorers, archeologists, and inventors who take her with them on their expeditions all over the world to learn about the past. But on their most recent trip, they decide to leave her at the base camp because the Beelzebub ruins are too dangerous.
She waits for three days, hurt in her pride and bored out of her mind, until she realizes that something must have happened to them if they haven’t come back yet. In a hurry, she grabs the Frogun, the last thing her parents made, and heads to the ruins to save them and show that she’s just as good as them.
