Anime distributor and localizer Funimation in 2018 teased that an official streaming app for Nintendo Switch was in the works.

Well fast forward to then end of 2020 and we’ve heard nothing but radio silence. But the wait might finally be over!

Funimation released a cryptic teaser showing a docked Nintendo Switch console – along with a simple “Oh, hello.” greeting that implies its arrival on the system in the near future. While we don’t actually get a look at the app or hear about a release date, we can probably expect to learn more about it in the near future.
