Inti Creates debuted Grim Guardians: Demon Purge, an action-packed platformer with elements reminiscent of Castlevania and starring characters from the Gal Gun series, the previous year. The good news is that western gamers will also have the opportunity to put the game on their shelves.
PQube has said unequivocally that the company will be in charge of the western retail distribution of the game. A smaller Collector’s Version of the game will be released in the summer of 2023, and it will be possible to pre-order it via Funstock. The normal edition of the game will be available for purchase in the spring of 2023.

About Grim Guardians: Demon Purge
Two sisters take on the halls of a demon’s castle as it begins to throw a shadow over the area.
They will be able to lift the curse if they work together.
Two girls play the role of “Demon Hunters,” slashing and shooting their way through a 2D action adventure in order to defend their school after it is transformed into a giant demonic fortress.
Players have the ability to manage either one or both of the characters at any one time, and each one has a fully unique set of abilities. Confront the diabolical bosses that lie in wait deeper inside the castle as you make your way through it.
Each boss fight results in the acquisition of new weaponry, which in turn enables more diversified exploration and opens up new pathways.
‘Change your appearance on the fly as you make your way through the evil fortress!’
Get control of both of the Kamizono brothers who are working together. As you make your way through the castle, you should capitalize on Shinobu’s ability to attack enemies at a distance and Maya Kamizono’s ability to fight enemies up close.
Because each sibling has a diverse arsenal of one-of-a-kind secondary weaponry, you have a plethora of alternatives to choose from whenever the situation calls for a shift in tactics. Don’t be afraid to put them to good use as long as you still have Weapon Points in your inventory!
In the case that one of the siblings is killed during combat, the ability to revive them via “Sister Rescue” is completely free—provided that you are able to return to the location where they were killed.
Defeat the game’s bosses to earn additional sub-weapons and unlock a whole new layer of exploration!
The siblings will have access to a wide variety of fascinating new skills if they are successful in taking down the bosses.
These secondary weapons make previously inaccessible pathways and avenues of investigation inside the castles available.

The narrative of Grim Guardians centers on two primary aspects: the unknown reason for the alteration of the school, and the search for the locations of the other kids.
Choose “Pure” mode to hear all of the original Japanese voices in narrative mode, or choose “Refined” mode to hear English voice acting that focuses on the action and is geared for fans of the genre. Both modes allow you to enjoy the experience as it was intended.
The one-of-a-kind Style system allows you to tailor the game’s level of challenge to your preferences as a player!
There are a total of three distinct play styles that may be selected by players: “Casual,” “Veteran,” and “Legend.” This gives players the ability to customize the level of difficulty to suit their preferences. After the game has begun, there is no penalty for making this adjustment at any point in time.
Additionally, if there are two controllers available, you will be able to play alongside Shinobu and Maya in cooperative mode.
