GrimGrimoire OnceMore, a remake of the classic PS2 game GrimGrimoire, received a new video from Nippon Ichi Software. This is a story-focused trailer that introduces the game’s prologue and the experiences of Lillet Blan, a young witch trapped in a five-day time loop.

Lillet Blan was overjoyed.
Her heart had been pounding since she received the news. Lillet had been asked to attend a Magic Academy where only the most gifted young people were individually selected by the best wizards. The school was led by Gaminel Dore, a legendary magician who had previously beaten the Archmage. And the Silver Star tower, on which they study, was formerly the devastated Archmage’s fortress.
The tower was still full of unexplained mysteries and perils, which drew many visitors with their own personal motives. Lillet had begun her studies after opening her first grimoire. However, just five days later, the institution is threatened by a horrible calamity, and all lives are lost. Except for her, who had journeyed back in time without understanding why…
Can Lillet get closer to the truth by recreating those days? Can she put a stop to the horror in five days?

GrimGrimoire OnceMore will be released on Switch in Japan on July 28, 2022. A western adaptation has not yet been confirmed, but based on Vanillaware and Nippon Ichi Software’s other recent Nintendo Switch titles, it is probable.
