About Gunscape

Gunscape, a game that is inspired by traditional first-person shooters, takes all of those games’ most memorable components and places them in a toolbox that can be used to construct single-player, co-op, or multiplayer arenas. Don’t enjoy constructing stuff? Then you can just combat other players either online or in split-screen mode, or you may blast your way through swarms of creatures. As a result of the fact that maps may be shared, played, and voted on by anybody and everyone, you will never run out of new levels to play!

The gameplay is structured on motifs that are borrowed from a wide variety of first-person shooter games, ranging from the earliest classics to the most recent triple-A stealth and action shooters. Each theme set has its own one-of-a-kind environment construction blocks, player models, adversaries (including bosses! ), music tracks, skyboxes, special level components (including traps and teleporters), and, of course, GUNS. When constructing your worlds, you are encouraged to freely combine assets from different sets. The selection of content contained in each set has been meticulously chosen and planned out to avoid any instances of redundancy and to accurately portray the truly iconic aspects of the game that served as the set’s inspiration.

Anyone can have full access to every public player-created map in Gunscape, regardless of which theme packs were used to make them, thanks to the game’s built-in map browser, which includes filtering and a voting system. This feature is available on the Gunscape server, which allows you to share your creations with other players.

Features

  • Creation of maps in single-player, split-screen, and online cooperative multiplayer modes! You may construct maps at your own speed, or you can ask your friends to assist you! You may test out your map as you go by jumping in and out of action mode as you are editing it, or you can simply shoot each other.
  • The Campaign mode allows players to either design or play through a series of branching trees or sequences of maps, with or without a narrative. Construct a perilous obstacle course or a whole story that stands on its own as an exciting adventure.
  • In the co-op mode, you may either invite one or more pals to take on a co-op game with you or choose a single-player map and turn up the difficulty.
  • Multiplayer arenas: Create your own arena, complete with various spawn locations and power-ups, then invite your friends or host a public match for some harsh online action using one of the many different multiplayer modes.
  • Sharing of maps throughout the globe and in a lasting manner: anybody may play the maps you provide.

You can get Gunscape from the eShop for the Nintendo Switch.
