About Guntech 2

It’s a game in the old style, yet it has the most cutting-edge visuals and visual effects you’ve ever seen, and the gameplay is quite fluid. It’s a twin-stick shooter set in space that takes inspiration from the old-school arcade games. You have the option of playing in single-player mode or playing couch co-op with up to three other people!

Controlling the ship’s direction and propulsion is done with the Left Stick, while the railgun is handled with the Right Stick. Your spacecraft is outfitted with a total of three distinct types of armaments. The two extra, more powerful weapons, which always shoot in the direction of your ship’s nose, are fired by pressing the L Button and the R Button respectively. This grants you the ability to fire the railgun in any direction, with an increase in firepower when you point your spacecraft in the direction of the adversary.

Tutorial, Virus, The Dark Worlds, Space Jungle, and Cargo Hauler are the game’s five unique environments to explore in Guntech 2. Each globe is comprised of 8 stages, with the last level being a boss level. In addition, there are seasonal levels, which are mini-missions with a humorous or absurd tone and are based on certain holidays or seasons, such as Christmas or Halloween.

Every level starts you out with a whole new set of lives. There are three distinct objectives for each stage. The first is a requirement for advancing to subsequent stages and will grant you a star upon completion. You may aim to complete all of the levels with a three-star rating, which will win you more stars if you complete the other level objectives.

There are twenty distinct types of weaponry. When the game begins, you are provided with the basic weaponry, and as you go through it, you will unlock other options. The weapons each have their own unique properties, and it is up to you to choose which ones are best suited to your play style and to the challenges presented by each individual level. You may obtain new weapons between stages, but you are free to swap between any of the weapons you already have while you are playing the game.

On the Nintendo Switch eShop, Guntech 2 is now available for purchase. You are able to play it in any one of the following languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, or Spanish.
