HARVESTELLA will be released globally on the Nintendo Switch on November 4th, 2022, according to Square Enix.
It is defined as a life simulation RPG in which players collect resources and interact with a range of individuals while learning about their surroundings.
About HARVESTELLA
Players will nurture their crops, meet the townspeople, defeat challenges, and uncover the origins of the universe and the truth behind the tragedy along the road in a rich and colorful setting.
The tale starts when the player awakens in the midst of “Quietus,” a natural disaster that occurs with each change of season and threatens all life.
Features
Quietus – A season of death that occurs with the changing of the seasons. Crops wither, and death dust prohibits people from ever venturing outdoors. Quietus is claimed to be lasting longer and longer each year.
World – Players will be able to explore the world’s various cities and dungeons, including “Nemea Town,” which has cherry blossoms blooming all year, “Seaside Town Shatolla,” which has a lively bar scene, “Lethe Village,” which has four seasons’ worth of beautiful colors, and the snow-covered “Holy Capital Argene.” Players must walk a beautiful but challenging journey to reach the “Seaslight,” the four huge crystals that regulate the seasons.
Vegetables, grains, and fruits may be cultivated on farms and transported for money or utilized as crafting materials. They may also be used for cooking, where recipes can heal HP or temporarily increase stats, which will be essential when on adventures. At home, players care for their animals, which include the round bird “Cluffowl,” the elegant goat “Woolum,” and their pet “Totokaku,” which may result in pleasant gifts.
Comrades – Players will meet new characters such as “Shrika,” a missionary looking for a new religion, “Heine,” a flirty and gorgeous mechanic, “Asyl,” a descendent of the Wind Readers, and “Aria,” a mystery girl who claims to be from the future. You will obtain a greater knowledge of your teammates by confronting their challenges and varied ways of living.
Combat – To be successful, move between a broad range of occupations during combat, such as the “Fighter,” who releases fast sword skills, the “Shadow Walker,” who gives fatal blows with dual swords, or the “Mage,” who specializes in magical assaults. Take on formidable opponents by targeting their weak places and then eliminating them with a devastating Double Break strike.
