At the Game Awards 2022, the publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment and the developer Upstream Arcade revealed a brand new Hellboy-themed video game that would be available on Nintendo Switch as well as other gaming systems.
The title of the game is Hellboy: Web Of Wyrd, and it is said to be a “roguelite action adventure game.” It stars the titular paranormal investigator as he battles a number of bizarre creatures and monsters who live in the enigmatic Butterfly House. There has been no word on when the game will become available.

The True Account
The Butterfly House, which was constructed in 1962 by the occultist Pasquale Deneveaux, is more than just a dwelling; rather, it is a doorway. Its twisted angles and non-Euclidean geometry were constructed with one sinister goal in mind: to create entryways into a terrifying but intriguing world known as The Wyrd.
Twenty years later, an agent of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense is sent on a reconnaissance mission to the mansion, whereupon he vanishes without a trace. It is up to you, Hellboy, and your team of Bureau agents to discover the mysteries of The Butterfly House and locate your lost colleague.
During the course of the inquiry, you will have the opportunity to travel to fascinating and bizarre realms of existence that are trapped inside The Wyrd. Each of these planes is home to formidable creatures, godforms that have been forgotten, gorgeous riches, and potent secrets. Be wary, though, since the furthest parts of The Wyrd are home to an ancient evil that has been dormant for centuries and is now aching to break free.
