There are a lot of games that end up getting downloadable content, but it seems that Hogwarts Legacy won’t be one of them. There are no plans to add any new material to the game, at least not right away.
DLC plans
Alan Tew, the director of the Hogwarts Legacy video game, told IGN that “we’ve been pretty heads down bringing [Hogwarts Legacy] to life,” and that as a result, there are currently no plans for downloadable content (DLC). While it is possible that plans may be altered in the future, fans should not anticipate anything further to be added to the game beyond what is already included in it at this time.
This week marked the first debut of Hogwarts Legacy on a select few platforms, but it is expected that additional consoles will be entering the fray later in the year. The Switch console will be the final one to be made available, and its release date is presently set for July 25.
As some of you may remember, Hogwarts Legacy was really supposed to come out around the time of the last holiday. But, in order to “provide the finest possible gaming experience,” the release date of the game was pushed back.
