Get off the train in the town of Hokko and make yourself at home.
Help this quiet village become the charming small town that everyone loves. It’s up to you, with hammer and paintbrush in hand, to design, build, and decorate homes for all of your new friends.
Try new things! Get busy in the dusty old workshop and let your imagination run wild!
You can make things out of materials and put them together in any way you want to make new and cool furniture and other things for your town. Gather flowers, mix paints, and use them to make patterns for wallpaper, floors, and even clothes.
Will you make a set of urban-industrial furniture or maybe a set of flowery, bright wallpaper? With the whole workshop at your disposal, you’ll be free to make a town that your villagers will love.
Features
- CRAFT: Go to the forest or the abandoned mine to chop, mine, and dig for resources. Bring what you’ve found back to town and make it into things you can use to make your own designs.
- DESIGN: Gather your supplies and head to the workshop to give every item in the game your own twist. Use the design table to make your own furniture by combining different shapes and materials in a simple but powerful editor.
- PAINTING: Put on your apron, get out your paintbrushes, and put some color on the wall. You can make wallpaper, floors, and even T-shirts for you and the villagers to wear. Get everyone in town to wear something you made.
- BUILD: Ask the local builder for help and start building up the town. You can put buildings wherever you want and get them ready for people to move in.
- DECORATE: You can change the inside and outside of any home, choose designs, and place furniture to make a home that your new friends will love.
- FARM: You can grow vegetables and other plants on any piece of land. Use your green thumb to grow and sell the best crops.
- FISH: Spend a quiet morning fishing at one of Hokko’s many fishing spots and add to your fishing collection. Fish have different habits, so you’ll need to change how you catch them. When you reel them in, each one will present its own challenge.
- BUG HUNT: Bugs are all over the world of Hokko, and you can catch them to add to your collection. Keep an eye out, though, because you never know what might be hiding in that bush!
On Nintendo Switch, you can buy Hokko Life either in a box or online. There are translations for English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese.
