Ittle Dew 2+ Delisted

Ittle Dew 2+ Delisted

Joel, developer of Ittle Dew 2+, went on record and called Nicalis a “shit publisher” for the fact that Ittle Dew 2+ got delisted from the Nintendo eShop.

What happened?

When Joel cancelled Nicalis’ license to publish Ittle Dew 2+ 6 months ago, Nicalis first agreed to transfer the games over to Joel. Instead of fulfilling their promise, Nicalis ghosted Joel and delisted Ittle Dew 2+ on the Nintendo eShop and all other platforms.

Customers can no longer purchase Ittle Dew 2+ digitally and Joel is scrambling for a way to re-publish the games or, at the very least, reinstate the listings. As of now it seems available on the Dutch and UK Nintendo websites just fine but not available  on Nintendo.com; https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/ittle-dew-2-switch/

Also the trailers etc of the Ittle Dew 2+ are still up;

Shocking

Well I am not one from the game publishing world, I am just a mere reporter of news  but I am shocked. I actually like Nicalis for all the delightful things they do when it comes to physcial releases. But if this is all factual … then that is really bad.  I hope both parties can work out the issues they have because quite frankly the fans of Ittle Dew 2+ … myself including … deserve the ability to experience the game.
