Kao the Kangaroo is back in 2022

Do you remember Kao the Kangaroo from your childhood? No? Then you’re like the majority of folks.

If you do remember him, you’ll be excited to see that Tate Multimedia has released a trailer for a new Kao the Kangaroo game, which will be released in summer 2022 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC through Steam.

This time, the concept is that he’s looking for his missing sister and attempting to figure out what happened to their father. Traveling the globe and battling, oh, “fighting masters” who have been affected by a “dark force” will be part of this. You’ll be trained by a new teacher called Walt, and the adventure will climax in a clash with the Eternal Warrior.

About the Kao the Kangaroo series

In the introduction video, this new Kao the Kangaroo game seems to be a normal 3D platformer, with plenty of leaping, Sonic-style sliding, and Crash-style boxes to destroy.

However, no Kao game has ever garnered a favorable critical review, and there’s no reason to believe this one will be any different. But if you’re already a fan of the series, you probably don’t care what critics say, so keep tuned for more information on the new Kao the Kangaroo as summer comes.
