During the most recent Nintendo Direct Mini Kirby Star Allies was showed to us again. Besides a lot of new copy capabilities and other features a viewer has noticed that the game has received a graphics update.
This is something we saw earlier with Splatoon 2 and Super Mario Odyssey, but now also the new title of Kirby. The tweet below features images with reference material.
The difference does not look bad, right?

Video Trend
It seems to be that we get to see these differences becoming more and more of a trend. The reason is probably quite simple. Developing games or even technology now goes at such an incredible speed.
But certainly add to this the power of video and mediums like Youtube. Previously we saw such differences mainly due to what was used in magazines. Now we just sit so much closer on the stage.
The beauty of this is that you see the growth over time and as a company can be far more transparent to your customers. We think it is a good thing because you will see what potentially is also possible in the area of further optimization on a system.
