Land of Screens out – Launch trailer

Following a prior delay, publisher Serenity Forge and developer Way Down Deep announced that Land of Screens is now available for Nintendo Switch — and we have a new video. The release date was initially set for December 25, 2021. It was, however, secretly postponed, and it’s unknown why the additional time was required. In any case, the game is available right now.

With the assistance of a few new pals, some synthy chiptune jams, and the unmistakable chemistry of little children and cute animals, lead Holland on her new goal to abandon the social media overload and find some real-world interactions in Land of Screens.

A Point-and-Click Internet Escapism Adventure

Put on your most ostentatious mixing hat to face harrowingly familiar difficulties like: • Navigating an unplanned gathering when your only options for companionship are strangers—or, worse, pals you haven’t seen since high school.

  • Wandering around a hotel lobby in order to create uncomfortable introductions with other conference participants.
  • Making the most of last-minute concert arrangements, even if you’ve never heard of the band, never visited the venue, and have never met any of the people you’ll be with.
  • Your loved ones. Reunions.
  • Getting your pals enthused about performing nature-related activities so that they may get others to do the same so that you can all spend the day doing nature-related activities.

Simply get everyone to put down their phones… It’s not a problem

Everyone is hooked to their screens no matter where Holland travels to attempt to get away. To avoid the online frenzy and finally disconnect for a bit, she’ll need the support of old friends and new acquaintances—and they’ll need her help. Holland may just have a fighting chance of avoiding the ever-present creep of social media turmoil by plunging (or stumbling) into new experiences, new connections, and unplanned adventures.

Remember how nice it was to talk directly to people’s faces?

Holland’s only path out of this split with her sanity intact is to become analog in a society obsessed with digital connections. Fortunately, she’ll soon discover how many exciting events await her outside of the constant social media chatter. Sure, she could dwell over an internet thread of people’s reactions to her breakup like everyone else, but maybe there’s a better way…

The Nintendo Switch eShop now offers Land of Screens available for purchase.
