Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Full version required to use DLC

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is one of the most popular and highly anticipated video games of the year. Dedicated content requires the entire game, which has been pointed out by certain players on the game’s official website.

DLC for Tears of the Kingdom

Nintendo has been mum on the subject of DLC for the follow-up to 2017’s critically praised The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but there’s still a lot we don’t know. Nonetheless, the game’s Expansion Pass does get us access to two downloadable content packs for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. There were two add-ons, and they were called The Master Trials and The Champions Ballad, respectively.

About Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Fly across Hyrule and explore its huge landscape.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on the Nintendo Switch system is an epic journey over the land and sky of Hyrule. In an universe driven only by your creativity, the journey is entirely up to you.

The game lets you chart your own course through Hyrule and the mystery islands floating high in the sky, much as the protagonist did in Breath of the Wild. How well do you think you’d be able to use Link’s enhanced skills to repel the evil that threatens the kingdom?

Release date for Nintendo Switch version of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is set for May 12th.
