Sword of the Necromancer is now available in physical form for Nintendo Switch users as Limited Run Games stated that a physical version of the game will be available. Standard Edition copies will cost $34.99 USD apiece, with pre-orders beginning on May 24, 2022. (12pm ET).
This release, like previous distributed releases, will not be part of Limited Run Games’ numbered series, therefore missing out will not jeopardize a full Limited Run Games collection.

Sword of the Necromancer is a dungeon-crawler action RPG with Rogue-like aspects in which you may resurrect slain opponents to battle with you.
Using the prohibited abilities of the Sword of the Necromancer, turn your enemies into friends and assist Tama in reaching the dungeon’s depths in order to acquire enough power to bring Koko back from the dead.
Gather a small army of monsters, outfit yourself with weapons and relics, and level up to face the guardians that stand in your way.
- Convert your enemies into comrades by using the Sword of the Necromancer to resurrect slain monsters and force them to fight with you.
- Collect weapons and relics: each weapon is unique due to the procedural weapon creation mechanism, which grants them varied effects and traits.
- Fight with all your might: beat your opponents by using a range of weapons and items while dominating the fluid head-to-head fighting system.
- Level up: improve your character by defeating foes and improving your stats. By battling with your summoned monsters, you may improve them.
- Death is not the end: With each attempt, you move closer to the Necromancer. You will lose all of your equipped weapons and creatures, but you will keep half of your run level.
- Discover Tama and Koko’s background as you go through the dungeon.
- Local co-op play: Use the Flask of Homunculus to make a clone of the playing character and play a local co-op game with a buddy.
“Legend has it that deep inside these mountains, a heretic tried to defy the gods’ decree in order to obtain perpetual life.”
The heretic was successful in his erroneous endeavor, and he produced a weapon for unlawful rites that may provide immortality… and even bring the dead back to life.
Many have attempted to get that power throughout the years and centuries, but all they discovered in the Necromancer’s tomb was their end.

“The Necromancer’s Sword”
Tama is a former rogue who has been assigned to accompany the priestess Koko on her trip throughout the continent. During their journey, Koko dies, and Tama transports her body to the Necromancer’s vault, where tales claim resides a power capable of resurrecting the dead.
Tama will enter the dungeon, filled with sadness, with the goal of attaining the prohibited power of necromancy, disregarding the perils lurking in the shadows.
