Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass – Coconut Mall track updated to include moving cars

With the first wave of Booster Course Pass DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Coconut Mall was brought back, but not without some controversy. In the original Wii game, the cars at the end of the track moved and got in the way, making them another obstacle. In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, though, they were fixed and didn’t move.

Nintendo seems to have listened to the feedback and made a change. As part of the latest update to the game, the Shy Guys’ cars in Wii Coconut Mall now move around every so often. Time Trial mode is the only one that is different.

About Coconut Mall

With the Booster Course Pass, Coconut Mall shows up again in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The track is the fourth in the Golden Dash Cup, so it was released with the first batch of DLC.

It takes place in a shopping center on Isle Delfino, which is right by a beach.

Since Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, the music from Coconut Mall has been available as an event song in the Mario & Sonic games.

Before Mario Kart 8, Coconut Mall was in Mario Kart 7 as the third course of the Banana Cup and in Mario Kart Tour as a classic course that debuted in the Doctor Tour.
