Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass Wave 2 releases on August 4th

Start your engines, because on August 4, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass DLC for the Nintendo Switch system will add eight more courses to the game.

Wave 2 includes the Sky-High Sundae course, which is the first time it has been seen in a Mario Kart game. You can also look at the neon lights of New York Minute in the Mario Kart Tour mobile game and careen around a giant pinball machine in the DS Waluigi Pinball course, just to name a few.

Booster Course Pass Wave 2

Wave 2 has the Turnip Cup and the Propeller Cup. The courses are fast and familiar from the Mario Kart series, which includes games for the Super NES, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS, Wii, and Mario Kart Tour.

You can play each course in person or online. Here’s how the cups are divided:

Turnip Cup

  • Tour New York Minute is a course from the mobile game Mario Kart Tour that is based on New York City. As you drive through the park and past skyscrapers, you can enjoy the view.
  • SNES Mario Circuit 3 – This classic track was first used in Super Mario Kart for the Super NES. You have to drift around tight corners and avoid the Warp Pipes.
  • N64 Kalimari Desert: During this desert race, you’ll often run into an old steam locomotive that crosses the course. Be careful not to slow down the race by stopping the train.
  • DS Waluigi Pinball – This course looks and sounds like a giant pinball table. You can launch, bump, and weave your way through it. Just don’t fall over!

Propeller Cup

  • Tour Sydney Sprint: Soak up the sun as you fly over the bay and drive around the sights on this course from Mario Kart Tour.
  • GBA Snow Land: This snowy course is from Mario Kart: Super Circuit. Try not to slip and slide on it. Just remember that people with cool heads will win.
  • Wii Mushroom Gorge has an underground cavern, deep chasms, and big mushrooms to jump off of. Make sure you land safely!
  • Sky-High Sundae: The competition may get tough, but you can still relax in this sweet race, which is full of desserts that are bigger than life. Show that you’re the best in the world in this first course.

Wave 2 will be added to Wave 1, which is already out and has eight courses, including Ninja Hideaway, Paris Promenade, and Tokyo Blur from Mario Kart Tour. Wii Coconut Mall, N64 Choco Mountain, 3DS Toad Circuit, DS Shroom Ridge, and GBA Sky Garden are also in Wave 1. The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass comes with six waves of eight courses each.

All of these courses will be available by the end of 2023.
