Booster Course Pass Wave 3

With the release of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass downloadable content pack for the Nintendo Switch console on December 7th, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game will have eight more courses that bring holiday excitement to the game! With the inclusion of Wave 3’s courses, players will have access to 24 of the 48 tracks that are included in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass.

The courses that are part of Wave 3 include the frolicking fields of DS Peach Gardens and the icy mirth of Merry Mountain. Merry Mountain has seasonal sights and sounds to soak in as you are cruising around the track’s cold peaks and tall pines, so be sure to check it out. In addition, play the Mario Kart Tour mobile game to take in the vibrant scenery of London Loop and negotiate the cosmic twists of the Rainbow Road circuit on the Nintendo 3DS. These are just two examples. You may see a video that provides an overview of all eight Wave 3 courses at this link: https://mariokart8.nintendo.com/booster-course-pass/

Wave 3 includes the Rock Cup and the Moon Cup, and it brings back a number of fan-favorite courses from previous installments of the Mario Kart series to be playable on the Wii, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, and Mario Kart Tour. You have the option of playing each course either locally or online. The following is how the cups are divided:

The Rock Cup Tour London Loop is a circuit that was derived from the mobile game Mario Kart Tour and is based on England. The objective of the course is to beat your competitors while navigating recognized sites and coming in first place.

GBA Boo Lake is a track that was first introduced in Mario Kart: Super Circuit. It is located on a lake that is said to be haunted, and it is packed with ghosts.

3DS Mountain Rock Mountain Rock – This high-altitude track requires a lot of caution since it has a lot of steep twists and stones that bounce. A piece of advice for mountaineers is as follows: Put some wind in your sails by navigating your ship over a warp pipe.

Wii Maple Treeway is a track included in Mario Kart Wii. It challenges players to leap over autumn leaves and race through gigantic trees. However, they must be careful not to disturb any Wigglers who are out enjoying the fall weather.

Byways of the Moon Cup Tour in Berlin – This track, which was inspired by Mario Kart Tour, has some breathtaking scenery, so be on the lookout for falling Whomps and Thwomps as you navigate your way through it.

DS Peach Gardens – This Mario Kart DS track takes place in the expansive grounds of Princess Peach’s palace, complete with chirping birds, bopping Chain Chomps, and blooming fields of flowers. Are you able to identify each of the familiar topiaries?

Merry Mountain is a track in Mario Kart Tour that boasts enormous candy canes and a plethora of presents that have been wrapped. Players can hit the halfpipe and bank up the snowy slopes in this enchantingly festive circuit. And… does that seem like a flying sleigh train to you?

3DS Rainbow Road: If you look up in the clouds, you’ll see Mario there! This heavenly track was first introduced in Mario Kart 7 for the Nintendo 3DS and features Rainbow Road, which bends and twists around a number of different planetoids.

Halfway point

Half of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass courses will be playable as soon as Wave 3 is released, which will be added to Wave 1 and Wave 2 in the near future. The remaining 24 courses are scheduled to be released in 2019 as well.

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass is now available for those who have an active membership to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, in addition to being sold as a standalone product that may be purchased on its own. Also, keep in mind that an upgrade to version 2.2.0 that is completely free is now accessible to everyone.
