Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Version 2.2.1 update

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Version 2.2.1 update

Another patch has been released for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, bringing the whole game’s version number up to 2.2.1. The official patch notes from Nintendo are below;

Version 2.2.1 update

Due to the fact that just two particular difficulties have been resolved, this is not exactly a severe problem. The first one addresses the issue when playing Berlin Byways online results in choppy gameplay. After slipping off the course in London Loop with the second, Lakitu would not bring players back in the right location; this issue has now been fixed. According to what Nintendo has said, it wraps up all that can be found here.

  • Fixed Issues
    • There was a problem where the graphics would get choppy while playing online in the Berlin Byways game. This has been fixed.
    • Fixed an issue that occurred in London Loop where a player would be brought in by Lakitu after falling off the track, but they would not be returned to the correct position.

Version 2.2.0 update

A significant upgrade, version 2.2.0, was made available for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe earlier this month. This one not only brought compatibility for the most recent Booster Course Pass downloadable content (DLC), but it also includes additional features, such as a brand new Custom Items option.

The most recent update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is now available for download for any and all gamers on Nintendo Switch.
