All Mario Strikers: Battle League players will be able to download a free update on July 22. This update adds Daisy and Shy Guy as playable characters, a new set of Knight-themed gear, and the new Desert Ruin stadium.

- Daisy – Daisy’s high technique, skillful passing, and Flower Spiral Hyper Strike will make her opponents guess whether she is on offense or defense.
- Shy Guy – Shy Guy is good at everything and is always ready to play, no matter what position he is in. Also, Shy Guy’s Propeller Dive Hyper Strike is a powerful move.
- Knight-themed gear: When this gear is worn, it makes the strength and shooting stats better, but it makes other stats worse.
- Desert Ruin Stadium: Get down and dirty in a new stadium that looks like ruins in the desert. You can not only play games at the Desert Ruin stadium, but you can also make it your club stadium.
Try out these new features and see what great plays you can come up with to drive the ball into the goal. Your calmness and confidence in front of the goal will inspire sports fans all over the Mushroom Kingdom and the world. In 2022, there will be two more free updates for Mario Strikers: Battle League. There will also be new characters, gear, and stadiums in these updates.

The newest Mario Strikers game is coming to Nintendo Switch! Strike is a five-on-five sport similar to football that focuses heavily on offense.
Dribble and pass to teammates, as well as use tackles, objects, and smashing special shots, to score goals. If you come across an orb on the field, grab it and charge it up while your opponents are distracted in order to unleash Hyper Strike, a rare shot that can net you two goals in one!
On one Nintendo Switch device, up to eight people may gather around the TV and take to the field together. Alternatively, grab your best striking partner and connect to up to three other consoles through local wifi or internet for even more multiplayer chaos.
