About Meg’s Monster

Meg’s Monster tells the tale of two people who would never have expected to become friends. The narrative is encased in a one-of-a-kind, raw, scripted, turn-based battle system in which the player controls a nearly invincible monster who must defeat enemies while also protecting a fragile human child with strange apocalyptic powers. If the child cries, the end of the world will occur.

Meg, a human toddler, finds herself in a world where mutants and monsters devour people for breakfast. It just so happens that Meg’s tears have the ability to bring about the end of the planet. It is up to a massive monster called Roy and his companion Golan to assist her in getting back to her house safely. As they search the Underworld for hints as to the location of her mother, the three will become closer to one another over the course of their adventure. In the process, they will also unearth some genuinely startling facts about their world and about themselves.

The classic aesthetic and straightforward presentation of Meg’s Monster rapidly transform the game into a tough, hilarious, and essential role-playing game. The narrative plunges the player headfirst into the action of the plot while simultaneously instilling a genuine sense of compassion for the game’s primary and pivotal characters. With over 50,000 lines of speech, the game’s many conflicts provide a story that is both rich and exciting as you go through the game. When you do combat, you must master the specialized mechanics and minigames that come with each encounter, all the while ensuring Meg is safe and content with her favorite things to play with. A lovely toy will help Meg remain calm and happy, which is one of the underlying factors, but the situation is not quite as straightforward as it seems at first glance.

Roy, the monster, has 99999 Hit Points and is almost unkillable due to the fact that practically no foe can kill him (imagine Saitama from One Punch Man in this situation). On the other hand, when he gets injury, the other protagonist, Meg, takes emotional and mental trauma as a result since she is a kid and she cannot stand to watch Roy get wounded. If her emotional bar hits zero, she will weep, and that will be the end of the world. This implies that players will have to strike a balance between Meg’s emotions while also fending against attackers who try to take them out of the game. To prevent Meg from weeping and to protect her from being unhappy, Roy will need to utilize toys.

Meg’s Monster features music composed by acclaimed artists such as Monster Hunter, Hi-Fi Rush, and Atelier Ryza 2 composer Reo Uratani, as well as a main theme with ethereal, otherworldly lyrics written and performed by Laura Shigihara, who is also known for her work on Plants vs. ZombiesTM, To the Moon, Rakuen, and Deltarune. The soundtrack has a lot to offer.
