Developer Dotemu is reviving another arcade classic is a new and innovative way in the future as they announced Metal Slug Tactics – a new strategy RPG.
Metal Slug Tactics sees Metal Slug characters Marco, Eri, Fio, and Tarma fighting opponents on grid-based maps.
Players will be able to unlock various weapons and upgrades over time to boost their team’s power, and even call in reinforcements such as air strikes to tip the scales of battle!

STORY
Donald Morden is back! After a long time being hidden in a country opposed to the World Government, he patiently staged a coup d’etat and is finally ready to take revenge upon the world with the army he gathered throughout the years. The Peregrine Falcons will have to do everything in their power to make it through the enemy lines and take down Morden before we get further into the war!
Metal Slug Tactics coming to Nintendo Switch?
While the game is currently only slated for a PC release right now, most of Dotemu’s games such as Streets of Rage 4 and Windjammers have also hit Nintendo Switch, with their upcoming project Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge also planned for Nintendo Switch.
