Metroid Dread success spikes Metroid titles sales on Wii U & 3DS

Metroid Dread has finally found it’s way in the hands of Nintendo Switch owners around the world and previous entries in the Metroid franchise are seeing a noticeable boost.

Metroid succes down the line

Metroid Fusion is available through the Virtual console (Wii) which released in 2002 for the Game Boy Advance, is a title  currently sitting at #1 on the eShop sales charts in the UK.

Metroid: Zero Mission, the GBA remake of the original Metroid, follows closely at #2, with Metroid Prime Trilogy and Super Metroid placed at #7 and #9 respectively.

As for the Nintendo 3DS eshop, Metroid: Samus Returns, the 2017 remake of Metroid II: Return of Samus, comes in at #3.
