About Metroid Prime Remastered

Prepare yourself for an unforgettable journey.

Samus Aran, a bounty hunter operating around the galaxy, is alerted to the presence of a damaged frigate orbiting the planet Tallon IV by the transmission of a distress call. During further examination, it was discovered that the ship was really a Space Pirate research vessel where horrifying genetic experiments with the unknown drug Phazon were being conducted. There, Samus has a confrontation with her archenemy Meta Ridley, whom she chases all the way to the surface of Tallon IV. It is entirely up to her to study the planet’s shadowy mysteries, discover its interrelated areas, and put a stop to the danger that Phazon poses to the cosmos as a whole.

This first-person adventure, which has received a lot of positive feedback, is now available with upgraded graphics, music, and control systems, among other improvements.

Features:

Tools of the Hunter

Samus Aran, a fearsome bounty hunter who has been imbued with Chozo DNA and has been trained as a warrior, travels around the galaxy in search of wanted criminals. Throughout this expedition, Samus is equipped with a number of Chozo-created weapons and abilities, all of which are at her disposal.

Power Suit:

An sophisticated Chozo exoskeleton designed for use by Samus Aran, the Power Suit offers life-support functions and is effectively insulated from assault. The modular design of the Power Suit allows for the installation of guns, Visors, temperature resistance, and other gear as required.

Visors are abilities that have become synonymous with the Metroid Prime series. Samus may utilize the Power Suit’s customizable user interfaces to better understand and engage with the environment around her. The Scan Visor enables Samus to analyze items and opponents from a gathered database. Samus is able to observe her surroundings in new ways as a result of upgrades like as the Thermal Visor and the X-ray Visor.

The Arm Cannon is Samus’ primary weapon, and it uses her bioenergy to create a beam that may either be discharged quickly or built up to provide more force. Upgrades like exploding Missiles, the electrified Wave Beam, and others may enhance her armament in critical ways. There are a lot of doors that can only be opened by using certain Arm Cannon skills.

Morph Ball

Samus may morph into Morph Ball form—approximately one meter in diameter—to roll through tiny corridors and other hard-to-reach regions. Like the Power Suit, the Morph Ball is modular. There are a number of enhancements, such as the Bomb assault and the Boost Ball move, that may be implemented in order to make the performance better.
