MiHoYo, Genshin Impact’s publisher and developer, said early on in the game’s development that their open-world gacha game will ultimately find its way to Nintendo Switch.
However, in the years after the game’s initial release in 2020, the firm has provided no fresh information on when this rumored Switch port will be published, prompting many to speculate that it had been scrapped or abandoned.
However, Gonintendo recently contacted MiHoYo to inquire about the progress of Genshin Impact’s Switch conversion, and received a response from a PR Specialist stating the Switch version is “still in production.”

Despite this promise, we would advise readers to be cautiously enthusiastic about the Genshin Impact Nintendo Switch port until we hear a more public statement about when it will be published.
