Minecraft update 1.20 coming in 2023

Mojang gave the first details about Minecraft version 1.20, which is the next major update. It will come out sometime in the year 2023. Mojang will use the time between now and when the update comes out to shape it and get feedback from the community.

We don’t know what the update is called, but we do know what it’s about. It’s meant to help people express themselves through how they look.

What we know about the Minecraft 1.20 update:

– Seven new default skins are being added. – These skins can be used in the game, but they will also be shown in future trailers, key art, etc. Players can use strip logs to make hanging signs, which are new items. All kinds of wood can be used to make these blocks, and they can be in one of three states.

– New wood set for bamboo. – This wood set has a block called bamboo mosaic that no other wood sets have. – Raft will be included, and you can make it out of bamboo.

– Chiseled bookshelves will be added to the game as a new block. You can use them to store one to six books.

The bookshelves help to hold up Redstone. Camels will be added to the game. Camels can dash, which lets you cross ravines or rivers. A camel can hold two people at the same time.

At least on PC, version 1.20 will be available in a few days as a beta, snapshot, or preview update.
