Monster Hunter Rise on Nintendo Switch came out with a free demo from Capcom that let players try out a few tutorial and challenge quests before the game’s official release.
No more base demo
Now, a year after it came out, Capcom has said that the Monster Hunter Rise demo will be taken off the eshop after June 30/July 1, 2022. Even though they didn’t say why, it’s likely to avoid confusion with the Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak demo, which is similar but uses monsters from the expansion:
The Monster Hunter Rise DEMO will no longer be available on June 30, 9pm PT / July 1, 5am BST for both Nintendo Switch and Steam. The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Demo will continue to be available for download. pic.twitter.com/tjZWCE55UB

If a player wants to try out the Monster Hunter Rise demo, they might want to do so before the deadline.
About Monster Hunter Rise
Monster Hunter Rise for Nintendo Switch lets you hunt whenever and wherever you want. In this huge action RPG, you can freely explore vast landscapes that are based on ancient Japan, kill dangerous wild monsters alone or with friends, and use your spoils to make powerful weapons and armor.
The return of a terrible event that could cause chaos in Kamura Village is signaled by the sighting of a scary monster from legend. With the help of the village elder and the people who live there, you need to get better at hunting and protect this peaceful village from monsters.
A planned update on June 30, 2022, will add support for Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
