Some fresh facts for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak were unveiled during Capcom’s June 2022 event.

The presentation unveiled a number of new and returning monsters and sub-species that will appear in the expansion. It was also stated that it would get a free trial on June 14th, 2022, where players will be able to play instructional missions and face an even more difficult version of Sunbreak’s signature monster Malzeno. Finally, the first free title updates for the game were revealed, with the first arriving in August 2022 and more following until 2023.

The New Trailer

Ryozo Tsujimoto, Monster Hunter series Producer, kicked off Capcom Showcase 2022 with an exciting new teaser for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. The video included a resurrection of the Jungle region from the second generation of Monster Hunter games, the return of Espinas the Thorn Wyvern from Monster Hunter Frontier, and the frantic approach of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate’s main beast, Gore Magala.

Free Demo

Hunters may get an early taste of the action tomorrow, June 14, 2022, when a free demo for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak becomes available for Switch and Steam just after 7 p.m. PDT. Digital pre-orders on both platforms are now available, and they come with a complimentary Palamute and Palico layered armor set.
