Mortal Kombat 11 delayed to May 10th

Some disappointing news for those of you waiting to play Mortal Kombat 11 on Nintendo Switch it seems. As multiple European retailers have updated the Nintendo Switch version’s release date to May 10, 2019.

Delayed

Retailers that have changed the date include Amazon UK and the official Warner Bros. store. At the time of writing, Warner Bros. Entertainment has not officially announced that the game has been delayed.

Meanwhile, other retailers in North America as well as the official Nintendo website are still listing an April 23, 2019 release date. It wouldn’t be long before we hear an official announcement for the delay.

Better to delay

While it seems like a downside, we would rather see a well working conversion on Nintendo Switch then see a half assed / rushed version being put out just to meet a deadline. I don’t think we have to remind anyone of the clusterfuck that is WWE 2K18 right? And we simply don’t want to see the first Mortal Kombat to grace Nintendo main console in … 13 somewhat years  be a disappointment.

So our advice, if it gets delayed a bit, dont complain too much. The main thing is that is indeed coming to Nintendo Switch.
